Economically powerful countries using fossil fuels highly bring catastrophe in global climate, leading to developing and under-developing countries to dreadfulness. Developed countries are busy in enriching the storage of nuclear weapons, leading to making a vast of nuclear wastes, subsequently, not ensuring their proper management system, leading the world to a fierce natural catastrophe. Developed countries are displaying new AI models, which are able to the effects of climate change. There are many impassable territories out of human's reach, AI based drones with high sensor easily track of those areas ' climate based information, leading to the opening up of a new vision in research.But data centers around the world run on electricity, emerging from fossil fuels. Those of companies that are making climate change preventive software, updated technologies, they are driven by fossil fuels based electricity.
It's like a sprinkle of salt on a cut wound. They are unraveling new solutions to inhibit climate change's dreadfulness through updating and upgrading new Al model climate change preventive technologies in front of the world's stage, imperiling the world's climate. Novel narratives of climate change are being created by them, which are being included in interdisciplinary academic discourses, and those who are practicing these, are being colonized by themselves unwillingly and unconsciously.
It is high time to come out of the slavery of neo-colonialism, to make new fields of knowledge, not exercising neo-colonial interdisciplinary, new innovative areas of knowledge are to be made by us.

Neo-colonialism denotes the continuation of the influence and control of the colonial role through indirect cultural, political, and economic means (Wikipedia, 2025). The term neocolonialism has been prolonged with the integration of communication and information technology, globalization and the openness of geographical boundaries. Previously, direct military and administrative intervention and direct territorial possession were formal colonial traits. But nowadays, colonialism has emerged in a new form, and it has established itself as a new colonialism. The structure of neo-colonialism is comprised of three pillars: communication and information technology, globalisation and geographical boundaries openness.However, colonisers have used education as a tool of neo-colonialism. Neo-educational colonialism refers to the modern colonial strategy in which the educational system is used as a tool of linguistic, cultural, psychological and economic dominion over developing countries, which is considered to be an indirect means of the expansion of dominion. Whatever the ways neo-educational colonialism has been expanding — the imitation of the British curriculum, e-learning system-based supremacy, and control of the research arena.

Our higher education is based on the British curriculum model. In the grading system in our higher education, the British grading system is followed. In our university-level education, we have no ability to make the grading criteria, which is why we are to follow the British grading criteria. The British grading criteria is approved by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.
"E-learning System-Based Supremacy"
Western countries have launched E-learning system-based education, or distance learning, through which online courses on technical and technological-based subjects are offered; certificates are delivered. For example, Harvard University offers online courses on various subjects, Coursera offers online courses and so on. Online-based businesses are run by them in the name of education; we are becoming their neo-educational colony. We are absorbing their capitalist mentality and thinking we are becoming something like the massive thing, but the reality is that we are being their neo-colony by the means of their educational system.

For achieving a higher educational degree or for getting a scholarship abroad, IELTS, TOEFL, and GRE degrees are the prerequisites for getting a good scholarship in any Western (European) countries; otherwise, they are not. The system is designed by the Western curriculum. We are to perform within the Western-prescribed educational structure, which indicates the conception of neo-educational colonialism.
"Control of the Research Arena"
In research, we are to follow popular citation styles made by the Westerners. In citation, we are to follow APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE, or CSE. Western academic databases like JSTOR, SCOPUS, Web of Science, PubMed, IEEE, XPlone, and Google Scholar index their renowned journals, including Nature, Science, The Lancet, American Political Science Review, Social Forces, The Journal of Modern History, Visual Studies, Third Text, Art Journal, and so on. Furthermore, they are exploiting us by educational tools, becoming consumers of them. For example: Paperpal, Research Pal, Review it, Grammarly, Mendeley, Turnitin, Duplichecker AI, Unicheck, Write Check, Quetext, Plagium and many more. Literature and plagiarism checker-based tools are designed and made by the Westerners, who are followed and used by us.
As a matter of fact, the Westerners are the controllers of knowledge production, and we are functioning within their prescribed educational structure. We are relying on their technology. We are, in particular, colonial consumers. In the name of monitoring, they steal information by using cookies, which is not only mere trickery but rather the tool of new imperialism. Google and Microsoft always use cookies in the name of the service of products, but the main reason is that they analyze personal data and trap our mentality, leading to neo-psychological colonialism.
"Neo-colonialism in Global Economics, and Culture"
Although third- world countries are considered decolonized and independent, they are not independent culturally, politically, economically, or psychologically. This is because the unipolar country America and its affiliated EU- based countries are exploiting the third-world countries by making the trap of globalization and information and communication technologies. They are seemingly independent, despite having their territorial sovereignty. Despite being decolonized, they are being colonized in the new structural form of colonialism, which is considered to be neo-colonialism. Once, the colonizers occupied lands and exploited the indigenous people and their territorial resources, but nowadays the structure and system of the colonizers have been changed. They are exploiting the countries by indirect means. For example, the Westerners exclusively control world politics, technology,media,social media, thinking and culture. Freedom from the sovereignty of land does not mean that the people of the second and the third countries have been decolonized; this is because of the prescribed economic structure and base in which second and third world countries are compelled to function under them. The IMF, the World Bank are the traps by which the second- and third-world countries are being economically colonized, despite being territorially decolonized. Moreover, the Westerners control their colonies by using technology. For instance, the pioneers of Silicon Valley are exploiting second- and third-world countries by controlling internet technology, worldwide software, website and data management systems, cloud computing service systems, their own monetary system, AI-based educational tool updates, upgrades, and launches, and e-learning systems. They are controlling the media, and people are being colonized, being the consumers of their products (Hollywood movies, Western songs like pop culture, and Netflix). The third- and second-world countries are being the consumers of the first world’s capitalist countries.
