The Way Iceland Captures Carbon

The Way Iceland Captures Carbon Carbon capture project of Iceland: Iceland has recently launched one of the world's largest direct air capture capacities. The prime objective of this technology is to directly divert carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Swiss company Climeworks and Icelandic carbon storage company Carbfix are playing a vital role in developing and managing this kind of technology. How it functions – The plant pulls in ambient air using a big fan. ⬇️ Special chemical filters separate CO₂ from the air and hold it. ⬇️ Collected CO₂ is mixed with water and then sent underground. ⬇️ It is then injected into the basalt rock layer. ⬇️ It permanently transforms into a rock mineral within a couple of years. ⬇️ This method is considered to be an almost permanent form of carbon storage. ©à¦¦্বীন সাঈদীন
