The former British government cherished national inhabitance for the Jews in Palestine; thereby, the best endeavor was applied to fulfill the objective, and it was evident that the non-Jewish communities’ religious rights in Palestine and the Jews’ existing rights and political position in different countries could not be put out.
A century ago, British Prime Minister Arthur James Balfour wrote a concise letter to the Zionist leader Baron Rothschild on 2 November 1917, which is acknowledged as the Balfour Declaration, through which he (Balfour) acknowledged austere Judaism, leading to the door of great catastrophe, which Balfour deliberately did. That year was the 20th anniversary of the World Zionist Organization, which was officially founded in 1897.
The Zionists were meticulously proceeding with a long-term project, which was a Bible-centered fairy-tale story that could be credible to humans, despite Balfour knowing that it was a crime to try to establish fake myths rooted in religious scripture, exiling them from living in their own habitation for decades.
The significance of the Balfour Declaration escalated; thereby, Palestinian territory from the Ottoman Empire was sentenced to the British, which occurred in the last part of the First World War. In 1920, the British officially captured the rule of Mandatory Palestine, which went up to May 1948. Its geographical position was in the territory of the West Jordan River.
After taking the rule of Palestine, the British commenced discriminatory behavior and repression against the more than 90% Arab inhabitants. Even prioritizing privileges in different ways for the Jewish settlers was given by the British as a strategy to return the Promised Land for the Jews in the long term.
Jews from Europe and various Arab countries began coming to Palestine, mustered strong. Direct assistance from the British in 1921 formed the Haganah paramilitary force, along with the immigrant Jews. Then, two other Zionist organizations, Irgun and the Stern Gang, were formed.
For decades, Israel and the Western world continued campaigning against the Palestinians as terrorists; thereby, they began giving validity to Israel for military operations and assassinations against the Palestinians. As soon as the Israeli state was declared on 14 May 1948, the Haganah and the Stern Gang were transformed into the Israeli Defence Force.
After 20 years of the Balfour Declaration, or 80 years ago today, in 1937, the British government appointed the Peel Commission, which formed a concise Israeli state, giving a proposal for the transfer of those Arabs in the east, Trans-Jordan, and nearly all of Egypt's broader part to the west, and Jerusalem and Bethlehem as an enclave between the two countries. Although the Arabs repudiated it, the Zionist leaders supported it. This is because the Peel Commission unfairly made an opportunity, which was the basis of the Israeli state's foundation.
During the period 1939–45, the gruesomeness of the Second World War and the fascist Hitler’s extreme Israeli grudge brought about a big opportunity for the Zionists. During the Second World War in Europe, almost sixty lakhs of Jews were killed, which is historically acknowledged as the Holocaust, and which was rendered as a massive rationality for founding a distinct habitat for the Jews in Palestine.
Through the foundation of the Jewish state, the Zionists commenced committing the sin, which has been expanding through crime and encroachment for decades; thereby, for sixty-nine years, the Zionists have not only distorted genuine history but have also made the confused speech of their misdeeds with adept mixtures of selected truths and diligently made lies, and they are as yet doing so.
The Western world forgets that the indebtedness of the Jews and genocide goes to Europe, but the value of reparations is to be given to the Arabs, particularly the Palestinians. On 29 November 1947, in the General Assembly of the newly formed UN, the proposal for the Palestine territory to be divided into two parts between the Jews and the Arabs was endorsed, through which the last nail in the coffin was buried.
In the meantime, the Zionists drew up a map for the expulsion of the Palestinians from their own land, which became known as Plan D, and David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel, directed the plan. In 1906, Ben-Gurion, born in Poland, came to Ottoman Palestine as a denizen and established himself as an extreme Zionist.
Plan D was a grand scheme of obliterating the Palestinian Arabs from their homeland, through assassinations, rape, looting, and terrorism. On 10 March 1948, the plan became final; thereby, Israeli terrorist organizations proceeded in full swing to implement it. Yet, despite being under British rule, the British forces were kept dormant so that armless and unprepared Arabs could not get safeguards.
On 14 May 1948, in Palestine, after finishing the British Mandate, Ben-Gurion officially declared an independent State of Israel, and U.S. President Truman instantaneously acknowledged it; thereby, Al-Nakba, or the Great Catastrophe, alighted upon the Palestinians. As a result, they had to flee from their homeland to safeguard their lives, and so, 15 May is considered Al-Nakba, or the Great Catastrophe.
Al-Nakba, in fact, had initiated a long time ago. Basically, from March to October, at least seven lakhs of Palestinians took shelter as refugees in nearby Arab countries. According to the decision of the UN, though they were supposed to return to Palestine, it was not implemented, even though several generations have passed. Instead, those who stayed have been living amid Israeli encroachment and terrorism for generations.
The Arab countries sent unplanned and uncoordinated corps for the purpose of the Palestinians’ safeguard but ended in smoke to resist effectively the Israeli forces, equipped with modern weapons obtained from Europe. Despite being vigorous, the Jordanian corps were one kind of inactive force, based on the secret reconciliation of King Abdullah with Ben-Gurion. The Syrian, Egyptian, and Lebanese forces made no political promises. Only the Iraqi forces were somewhat able to resist. What is more, everybody knows the rest of the history.
In 1967, Israeli encroachment became stronger, establishing authority in the Golan Heights, East Jerusalem, and the West Bank, and it was possible through another collapse of the Arabs in that year. In the statement of the Zionists, this acquisition “is the liberation of Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights.”
The hope is that inside Israel itself, through escalating protest and counter-commentary, the authentic history and its disillusionment are being analyzed by Israeli historians and researchers. Benny Morris, Shlomo Sand, Ilan Pappé, Avi Shlaim, Yael Lotan, Uri Avnery, and many others are in this group. They did not withdraw despite facing strong criticism and indecent attacks by Zionists; the containment policy of the State of Israel was unable to desist them. Rather, they took a strong position in favor of the freedom, rights, and dignity of the Palestinians.
Israel exists with glory through the assistance of the superpower USA, by violating global policies with the support of the Western world, by making refugees of lakhs of Palestinians, and by incarcerating the Palestinians in their own land, despite not fulfilling the definition of a state in political science. The culminated excellence in technology and science is ensuring the flourishing process of Israel. This country is one of the most powerful in military power, which has developed itself with a vast arsenal of sophisticated weapons. But the Zionist state of Israel does not find peace, despite many things occurring.
Unconditionally not giving an opportunity for the Palestinians to return to their homeland, not giving back Palestinian land, water, and resources by ending occupation, and not wanting forgiveness for ethnic cleansing—peace will never exist. The Palestinian Nakba will never be finished.
